Last year, we purchased 5 strings for the front of the house. This year, one string only had about half of it working. I ordered these to fill in the gap. The string arrived quickly and worked. Problem solved.Have them on 24 hours a day and have never had a problem with them. We love them!Lights are super bright and have a nice color. Not sure I would pay $32 tax included for a set of $70 lights again though.My eyes are really sensitive to bright lights, so I keep my home semio-dark and have always worn dark sunglasses when outside - and even inside at times when I'm in an office or other place where the lighting is too bright - especially if it's florescent lighting. Blue is a soothing color and I have these lights hung in my bedroom. They provide just enough light to watch TV or use my laptop without having any glaring lights on that bother my eyes and I even fall asleep with them on.These are great LED lights. I am glad that I found and purchased them through Amazon. The local box stores during the Halloween // Christmas selling season, NEVER offer purple as one of their choices for holiday lights.I could never find PURPLE LIGHTS to go with my Orange Halloween Pumpkin Lights.So, now I have a neat Halloween Light Display on my front porch. Maybe it will attract more Zombies and Goblins on Halloween Night. BOOO !!!I am using these in a bedroom area and they are quite nice. Gives off more of a black light vibe than indigo or purple. Very high quality build to the lights and the wiring. Highly recommend if you are looking for purple lights that aren't pink or red. Can't go wrong for the price.I wanted a deeper purple these have a pink shade to them my hunt is still on to find the true purple I wantThis was a reorder, so I was aware of the high quality of these lights. They lived up to the standard I was accustomed do.
