These work excellent to hang our patio lights on our camper's awning! We've also used them to hang tarps and canopy sidewalls and a projector screen on the awning too. They are handy little lifesavers when you need to hang something where typical clamps or hooks are not plausible. The grip is pretty good too! They held the projector screen and sidewall pretty well when we got some nasty storms with winds. We had one pop off the awning and it didn't leave behind any damage to the awning, thankfully. They don't seem to show any signs of wear from exposure to the elements so far either. They are not all that big, but they are definitely durable!
