The cords are short making the power box very close to the lights. Otherwise it would be 5 starsThere’s this amazing setting that looks like it is a firework blowing upThe firework lights gave me the exact stand out lighting affect I was looking for outside of my home for my Christmas lights. I love how their are multiple effects that the lights can do as well as the simplicity of setting them up and the best feature is the remote control which allows for the simplicity of turning them on and off as well as selecting which variation you want the lights to run on.Lights are bright and the remote function is great.I had some trouble with getting the batterie pack to sit properly and ended up having to tape it down. The batterie casing would move and the connected would not touch. Once I taped it in place it was fine, so it was a little annoying to work with, but for the price the lights are bright. These are fun. I purchased 2 packages of 6. They arrive flat and wires must be molded into shape, which is no big deal to shape them. They require 4 batteries each so buy a big ol pack of family sized AA.Multiple settings of blink options add to the unique effect and each have their own remote, however one remote can control all which is helpful. Bright enough and playfully twinkly.Neighbors have commented positively, and we are very happy w purchase. 4 stars only because of the pile of batteries required. Would purchase again.used on our canopy on the back porch. Allow yourself time to fan out the wires, it is time consuming but they look great if you take your time. The remote works, no issue. can even use these for winter decoration.I bought these for Outdoor Christmas decorations. They are right in front of my house, yet the remote control does not consistently turn them all on/off. We have also had issues with the timer function. The instructions that come with this are not very detailed at all. Since they have not been shutting off when they’re supposed to, they have become more dim than I had expected as they run out their batteries. Also, there is no way to set the timer so that they turn on at a consistent time, so if you are not around to turn them on, they will not turn on. Perhaps there is a function that allows this, but like I said the instructions are not detailed at all and I was not able to find times for how to do this.
