I almost didn't buy this because of the negative reviews (and Amazon's "this item has a high return rate" warning), however it had all of the features I was looking for: square shape, magnetic installation, gold colour. So I'm pleased that over the past two weeks it has been performing exactly as expected. It has worked flawlessly and I appreciate that I don't have to use the remote control to adjust colour warmth or turn it on or off, just tap the side of the light. Adjusting the brightness is a simple tap-and-hold. Very convenient. It arrived charged and working, and lasted about two weeks of periodic use each day (around 2 hours) before it needed to be charged. Removing it is simple: just snap it off the magnetic holder and plug it in. It took about 3 hours to charge fully, and the unit displays a red (charging) or green (completed) light to indicate status.I'm a little perplexed by the negative reviews: it does a great job of nicely lighting up my painting, but even at its brightest would not be adequate for a more intensive job, like illuminating a dartboard. (We tried. It wasn't bright enough.) But for small area accent or task lighting without the wires, this is a great option.Nicely packed, it included instructions, mounting screws and charging cable. Similar lights can be about double the price, so I feel like this was good value. So good, in fact, that I bought a second one with the money I saved!
