I bought these lights to wrap around my bottle tree, which I did. I also inserted them into the bottles on my tree which was a chore but once done, made my effort worthwhile. The 200 string of lights proved to be the perfect number to wrap around from top to bottom and have enough string left to put the solar stake into the ground.Well, the lights worked for the first three or four nights and were so very pretty. I was happy and excited. Then all of a sudden, on the 4th night or so, the lights quit and no longer was my bottle tree lit up and pretty. I have no idea why they stopped working. Could it be that the solar AAA battery after 4 nights already weakened out and no longer works? I took the panel apart to see the inside to see what I might need, (at this point I had no idea that I needed a solar battery) but I couldn't really see anything to fix, of course unless it's the solar battery of which I do not have an extra to find out. It'll be my next purchase. I hate to sound redundant, solar this and solar that. The stake is in the same spot and gets enough sunlight throughout the day to have this work at night. So who knows. If anybody has any ideas or advice on how I can fix these sweet solar lights, I would be very happy to hear. If the owners read these than maybe they can tell me. My only solution at this point is to buy a new battery and see if that works. If not, I will be returning with a full refund and trying a different product.I'm sure these were made overseas, most likely China, which sickens me. Cheap, slave labor is not how we should be spending our hard earned dollars, but this is where most of our stuff is made. Can anyone give a reason why these little lights stopped working?Thank you with all my gratitude.Christine L.August 24, 2021So after buying new rechargeable batteries (2 AAA for $15.00!) and literally changing them every couple of days for a week, these lights all of a sudden started to work and have worked ever since, for about 2 weeks now. I don't know why. I was persistent and just kept fiddling with them, and now they seem find. Hopefully this will continue. :)
