I definitely think the motion would scare them away. can you keep these on all the time or do you have to turn them off and back on? I keep them on all the time, and the solar just warms them up during the day and I get to come home to these brilliant little lights at night. These seem expensive for only 6 bulbs. Can someone tell me in inches, how big the bulbs are? They are 30 inches tall. You can get a 6 pack for 35 . That's only 8 each. I don't think that's expensive.
